After a trophyless 2023-24 campaign, AC Milan parted ways with Stefano Pioli as they brought in former Porto and Lille coach Paulo Fonseca at the club. However, under the Portuguese manager's tutelage, the Serie A giants are off to a nightmare start. They have managed to register just one win in their first four league clashes and suffered a humiliating 3-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool in their Champions League opener on Tuesday.

The poor start to the new season has prompted the Rossoneri to consider parting ways with Fonseca. Per Sky Sports' Patrick Berger, the Italian club have reportedly enquired about the availability of former Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic who guided the German side to the Champions League final earlier this summer.
